There happens to be a ton of information on how a woman can reduce her breast size, but what about men? Many times over, a man can have a wonderful physique from hours of working out, weight lifting, and recreational activities only to have disappointing results in his pectoral area. Most will try this and that with no results, and are resigned to loose chest fat making them feel as if they have the dreaded man boobs. If this sounds like you, then read this article, and find the results you have been searching for all this time! People can laugh and joke all they want when it comes to man boobs. They have been known as bitch titties in the bodybuilding community, as well as moobs. To some, this is funny. To those men who have to suffer with it it certainly is not! Too much breast tissue under the areola of the nipple area, can lead to a pronounced breast. This causes many of those afflicted to not want to show off the chest area, including doing such family activities as simple as swimming in a community pool. To others, it is so difficult to hide it under a tee shirt that they result in not wearing comfortable clothing, or even trying to bind that area with an ace bandage to lessen the visual. Hiding it is one difficulty, but actually getting rid of it can be more time consuming, not to mention pricey, if those with such pectoral fat really want to get rid of it. To be considered gynecomastia ( an enlargement of the male breast due to glandular issues), the breast must be 2 centimeters or more. Such an enlargement can actually be a bit tender, and cause discomfort when participating in certain extra curricular activities. Most cases of adolescents with gynecomastia tend to be considered idiopathic. This means that there is no real reason behind the enlargement, other than perhaps it is hormonal. A spike in estrogen may give cause to this issue, and tends to wear down once puberty has concluded at about the age of nineteen. Some, however, can be considered genetic, and may have to find an alternative to this breast enlargement. The tissues in the breast tend to be identical in both men and women at birth. This changes once puberty sets in, causing the women to produce the hormones that enlarge the area. In men, the area atrophies around the ducts, and lessens the breast area into the ever-popular sexy chest that women seem to enjoy. However, if this does not happen, there may be a problem in one of the endocrine glands. Endocrine glands produce hormones throughout the body, and may be a cause as to why the breast of the male does not atrophy. Most often, an outside influence such as certain medication can be the cause. Once the medication is removed from the system, the area tends to revert to its normal state.
